Some of Rob's highlights of his years spent working & playing in the wilds include:
- Being involved in the re-introduction of big game & safari tourism into the resurgent parks of central & southern Mozambique.
- Exploring Alaska’s wild bear-filled horizons, especially on foot with the beach bears of Katmai’s remote coast & discovering the vast Wrangell wilderness by super-cub aircraft.
- Behind-the-scenes conservation experiences through his partnerships with inspiring organisations across the globe, including his annual expedition to Chad’s resurgent Zakouma National Park with African Parks.
- Sailing around the polar-bear rich Svalbard archipelago, including cold plunges into the arctic waters & iceberg surfing.
- Hanging with various families of Central Africa’s great apes, including his most-loved mountain gorillas.
- His formative time in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, understanding the art of weapon-free walking, & learning to pole a dugout mekoro on the lilied & hippo-filled waters.
- Hanging with the hyacinth macaws, howler monkeys & hammock-dwelling local cowboys in Brazil’s pantanal wilderness – a wild adventure including horse rides, piranha fishing & jaguar tracking.
- Trekking & honey-collecting across the northern Tanzanian divergence of the Great Rift Valley in the company of the wild but oh-so-cool Hadza tribe.
- Walking the high-altitude Inca Trail with his father, including a very special experience with a spectacled bear & her cub on foot.
